🌈 Meet GIPHY Artist: Sarah Zucker 🌈

We’re celebrating Pride Month by featuring artists whose work reflects different aspects of LGBTQIA culture. In this installment, we interviewed LA based writer, artist and performer, Sarah Zucker. Here’s what Sarah had to say about GIFs, stickers, queer culture and more!

GIPHY Arts: What’s your favorite GIF/ sticker?

Sarah Zucker: I mostly use my own GIFs + stickers because I like speaking the visual language I’m developing with them…but if I had to pick something outside of my own collection, it would be a tie between this:

Oh, and also this… even though I made it, it’s for #RuPaulsDragRace fans who, I felt, needed it to exist:

GA: What’s your fav gif within your body of work?

SZ: One of my favorite GIFs I’ve ever made:

I’ve been making a lot of stickers lately. I really love this gorgeous rainbow being:

GA: What does Pride mean to you?

SZ: To me, Pride is about taking your place in the lineage of gay culture, honoring those who came before you, and celebrating your own individuality!

GA: Can you show what you’re working on right now?

SZ: I’ve been getting wild and weird with some new projects… just a taste of more to come!!!
